Is camrand free?
Yes. camrand is completely free and supported by ads. There is no premium tier and nothing to pay for.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no registration and no login. Open the site, allow your camera, and start chatting.
How old do I have to be?
camrand is for adults aged 18 or older. Report anyone you believe is underage — reports lead to bans.
How are chat partners chosen?
Matching is random among people who are online at the same time. You can set an optional profile that is shown to your partner, and you can skip to a new person at any time.
Is my video recorded?
camrand does not record or store video or audio — streams travel between browsers using WebRTC. Keep in mind, though, that the person you're chatting with could record their own screen.
How do I report someone?
Use the Report button during a chat and pick a reason. Users who are reported repeatedly are banned automatically.
Why do I see ads?
Ads are what keep camrand free. You'll see small banners and, occasionally, a short video ad — that's what pays for the servers.
Does camrand work on my phone?
Yes. camrand runs in modern desktop and mobile browsers — no app installation needed.
